Hello Pioneers!

My name is Shon Tester, one of the many leading you along
the roads of our town’s past, present, and future.

I had an immense sense of Pioneer pride when the Homecoming Committee
asked me to be in charge of the Homecoming program. It came with some laughter
and, of course, with a cathartic, bittersweet realization that I now fill the shoes of the
late Rusty Danreuther (1973), one of the great directors of our past Homecoming
programs.

This question that now begs to be asked: what type of program will Shon Tester
(2004) do? Well, that’ll just have to be a surprise! For those of you who have
attended the past four Rotary banquets, you know that I can produce and direct one
heck of an event. The same will be applied to the Homecoming program, but with
more pizzazz and a much larger budget!

To help me out with this endeavor, I have called upon the talent of our local band,
Oddfellas. The band consists of guitarist and vocalist Chris Myers (1997), bassist and
vocalist Josh Danreuther (1993), lead vocalist Billy Pierce (2001), pianist and vocalist
Charlotte Danreuther and Juilliard-educated percussionist Josh Poole.

The program will be on Saturday from 7:30-8:30pm in the high school gymnasium.
All involved are excited to see you and especially excited to entertain you! In the
meantime, ya’ll hit the road and head for home, safely.
